Cloverfish

So it looks like the freelancing life is behind me.  As of March 31 I am full employed developing websites.  Had anyone asked me last summer if I would be working full-time again in the spring I would have said no.  But one thing leads to another and I had an opportunity that seemed wise to take.  It's been an adjustment, but so far, so good.

Saturday night - Sept 11th - is the big night for my Wizard of Oz poster.  It will auctioned off at a gala to help raise funds for cancer research, specifically for childhood cancer.  I'm very anxious to know how much money it helps to raise. In other news, my sketches for the children's book are coming along nicely.  They are due at the end of October so I should have plenty of time to determine the best compositions. Also, my first night teaching at MICA went quite well.  Oddly enough after only one class there was a holiday the following week and so I don't teach again until Monday.  It doesn't do much for mome

Variety.  That's what I want in a career and for the next four months I'll have just that. On Monday night I'll begin my first class teaching Intro to Illustration at MICA. Google it.  On Wednesday and Thursday I begin a short-term contract designing websites at ADG Creative.  Again, Google it.  And then woven in between these commitments are the illustrations for Tanglewood Press. It really couldn't get much better than this. Now I must get back to sketching.
